When using the device for the first time, turn it on for 10 seconds and then wait for 5 seconds. Then you can use it continuously. b. Lift the fixing plate and pull the test material out. Cut the thread close to the test material. Directions for Use:1. Make sure the device is in the Off position. (See Figure #1. The On/Off Button must be slid back towards the back of the device). Raise the needle arm to its highest position by turning the rotary wheel. Note: The rotary handwheel can be rotated in both directions. (See Figure #1)2. Raise the fixing plate, making sure not to push the needle lever down (even when the device is in the locked position, the lever can be moved by hand). Place the fabric under the fixing plate. (See Figure #2) Release the fixing plate.3. Before starting to sew, at least 5 cm from the back to the front of the needle. If the needle needs to be threaded, refer to the "Threading the Stitch Sew Ouick™ Device" section.4. Hold the Stitch Sew Quick™ with your right hand. Place your thumb on the On/Off Button while your other fingers support the bottom of the device. (See Figure#3)5. Turn the device on by sliding the On/Off Button forward with your thumb. Use your sole to hold the fabric and control its direction and speed while pulling the fabric from the device. Be careful not to pull the material out of the device too quickly. When wider stitches are required, pull the fabric slightly to the left as you continue to sew. To obtain a straight stitch, follow the center line on the fabric fixing plate. (See Figure #4)6. To Finish Sewing - When you are finished sewing, turn the rotary handwheel to raise the needle position to the highest position, then use the back of a seam ripper or scissors to cut the thread off by about 7.5 cm. pull it out. (See Figures #5 and #6)7. Turn the handwheel by lowering the needle into the fabric and continue turning the handwheel until the needle arm is back in its highest position.8. Uninstall the fixing plate and pull the fabric to the left. Turn the fabric inside out and leave about 7.5 cm separated. guide the thread according to the directions indicated and the corresponding drawings: a. Slide the needle threader under the last stitch.b. About 2.5 cm from top to bottom of the needle threader. thread through.c. Thread the thread through the loop and pull tight to make a knot.d. Gently pull the needle threader out from under the stitch. Trim the excess thread. Threading the Sewing Thread Note: The thread should run from the upper right side of the bobbin or spool. The spring must be in place before the bobbin is installed.1. Thread the device according to figures #7, 8 and 9.2. Pass the thread up through the hole. (See Figure #7)3. Pass the thread over the tension control between the two silver discs (see Figure #8)4. Thread the needle threader through the needle eye from front to back. Pass the thread through the eye of the needle threader. Pull the needle threader from the end of the thread to the eye of the needle from back to front. (See Figure #9) Remove the needle threader. Adjusting the Thread Tension1. If the stitching is too tight, turn the tension control slightly to the left. If the stitching is too loose, turn the tension control slightly to the right. Attaching a Regular Spool of Thread (See Figure #10)1. Loosen the bobbin nut and remove the bobbin.2. Slide the spool of thread onto the extension spindle.3. Connect the extension shaft to the bobbin shaft. Needle Replacement Loosen the set screw with a screwdriver and remove the old needle. Always use a standard sewing machine needle. The needle should be inserted with the flat side of the needle bar facing the front of the Stitch Sew Quick™. (See Figure #11) Replacing the Bobbin When purchasing a spare bobbin for this instrument, note that your instrument uses a Class 15 metal bobbin. Replacing the Batteries (4AA Batteries - Not Supplied)Note: Make sure the instrument is in the Off position before replacing the batteries. AC/DC Adapter (Not Supplied) The adapter must have 6V 800mA. It must use a 1/8"/3.5 mm diameter plug with the adapter. Plugging an adapter into a socket with different ratings may damage the socket and adapter.Be sure to adjust the terminal polarity of the adapter according to the diagram shown on the bottom of the DC input jack of the sewing device. CAUTION: The needle is sharp. Be very careful when handling the needle to avoid the risk of injury. Keep away from children. When not in use, the device should always be kept in the Off position. This device should be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, supervised by a person responsible for safety precautions. not suitable for use unless provided or trained.
